International Executive Leadership

Man in ornate gold suit with Greek letters posing confidently.

Dr. Damyen N. Davis, International President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees

Dr. Damyen N. Davis is a visionary executive leader, ecosystem builder, and psychology-trained strategist whose work is rooted in leadership, brotherhood, institutional transformation, and the advancement of men of color. As International President of Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society, Inc., Dr. Davis leads with a bold and future-focused vision: to build a global leadership ecosystem where men of color rise in their power, lead from the center, and create platforms that transform communities, institutions, and generations.

Under his leadership, Phi Psi Lambda has continued to evolve as more than a Greek-letter leadership society; it has become a movement of excellence, education, activism, brotherhood, and strategic leadership. Dr. Davis brings an architect’s mind and a builder’s discipline to the organization, aligning vision, governance, programming, membership development, brand identity, technology, and cultural legacy into one integrated ecosystem. His leadership reflects a deep understanding that sustainable impact is not created through isolated programs, but through connected systems that develop people, strengthen identity, expand opportunity, and produce measurable transformation.

As a builder of ecosystems, Dr. Davis has positioned Phi Psi Lambda to operate at the intersection of leadership development, cultural empowerment, organizational intelligence, and emerging technology. He is especially committed to designing structures that prepare members to lead with excellence in higher education, business, civic life, entrepreneurship, advocacy, and community transformation. His work advances a leadership model that is both deeply human and strategically modern—one that honors culture, centers brotherhood, and embraces innovation as a tool for collective progress.

Through his executive leadership, Dr. Davis continues to shape Phi Psi Lambda as a next-generation leadership ecosystem—one built on legacy, powered by innovation, and committed to preparing men of color to lead boldly, serve purposefully, and build what the future demands.

Joshua H. Jimenez, International Senior Executive VP & First Vice-Chairman

Joshua H. Jimenez serves as the International Senior Executive Vice President and First Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society, Inc.—the trusted right hand to the International President and the organization’s second-in-command. In this pivotal role, he steers strategy, fortifies governance, and orchestrates enterprise-level operations that keep the Society focused on its mission: inspiring, cultivating, and advocating for leadership among men of color across the globe. Known for his calm command and crisp execution, Joshua is the integrator who turns vision into motion and momentum into measurable impact.

His Phi Psi Lambda journey began on December 21, 2018, with his induction into the Alpha Chapter—a moment that ignited a steady ascent through the Society’s ranks. He distinguished himself early as Vice President of Finance, safeguarding resources with rigor and transparency, and later as Executive Vice President, where he refined systems, strengthened accountability, and championed data-informed decision-making. Each role sharpened his reputation as a principled strategist and a builder of durable structures that elevate people, programs, and performance.

A proud graduate of Montclair State University with a degree in Exercise Science, Joshua marries a scholar’s discipline with a servant-leader’s heart. Beyond the Society, he is an outspoken advocate for racial equity and criminal justice reform, partnering with community-based organizations to raise awareness, shape narratives, and influence policy. Mentor, advocate, and architect of operational excellence, Joshua H. Jimenez embodies the values of Phi Psi Lambda—resilience, purpose, and service—while shaping a future in which the Society and the communities it serves can lead with courage and thrive with dignity.

Panuha Were, International Executive VP & Second Vice-Chairman

Panuha Were serves as the International Executive Vice President and Second Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Phi Psi Lambda Leadership Society, Inc., where his vision and innovation shape the organization’s future. As the Society’s third-in-command, he steers enterprise-level strategy, fortifies financial health, and aligns cross-functional initiatives to measurable outcomes. His leadership is marked by foresight, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to Phi Psi Lambda’s mission to empower, cultivate, and elevate men of color across the globe.

A scholar-practitioner, Were is currently pursuing a master’s degree in computer engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology—balancing academic rigor with executive responsibility. His ascent through the ranks began as Vice President of Finance for the Alpha Chapter, where he earned a reputation for disciplined stewardship, transparent budgeting, and data-driven decision-making. He further sharpened his leadership and recruitment acumen as Director of Recruitment for Phi Theta Kappa, demonstrating a natural capacity to inspire, unite, and mobilize diverse teams toward shared goals.

Today, Vice-Chairman Were’s work is anchored in building a durable legacy of transformation and impact. Equal parts architect and strategist, he designs systems that expand the Society’s reach while deepening its roots—ensuring growth is sustainable, values-aligned, and future-ready. With every initiative he champions, Were strengthens the foundation of Phi Psi Lambda and advances its bold vision—leaving a mark that is as enduring as it is transformative.
